This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") outlines the permitted and prohibited uses of The Prompt Fixer™'s AI prompt optimization service. By using The Prompt Fixer™, you agree to comply with this policy.
2. Permitted Uses
- Optimizing prompts for legitimate business purposes
- Improving prompts for educational or research purposes
- Creating prompts for content creation, coding assistance, or analysis
- Personal productivity and learning
Regulated and High-Risk Use: The Service is not designed to replace professional judgment in regulated or high-risk domains, including legal, medical, financial, safety-critical, or security-sensitive applications. Users are responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory and professional requirements.
Automation and Integration Responsibility: Users integrating generated outputs into automated systems, workflows, or third-party services are responsible for implementing appropriate safeguards, testing, and human oversight.
Export and Sanctions Compliance: Users may not use the Service in violation of applicable export control, sanctions, or trade compliance laws and regulations.
3. Prohibited Uses
- Creating prompts designed to generate illegal content
- Generating content that promotes violence, hate speech, or discrimination
- Creating prompts to deceive, defraud, or manipulate others
- Generating malware, phishing content, or other malicious material
- Violating intellectual property rights of others
- Attempting to circumvent security controls or abuse the service
- Automated scraping or excessive API usage beyond normal use
Safeguard Circumvention: Users may not attempt to bypass service safeguards, usage limits, or technical restrictions, including through prompt manipulation or automated access.
4. API-Specific Restrictions
You may not use our API to:
- Generate malicious code, malware, or exploits
- Create spam or bulk unsolicited communications
- Exceed rate limits through multiple accounts
- Reverse engineer our algorithms
- Share or resell API keys without authorization
- Train competing AI models
- Bypass security measures
Rate Limit Compliance
- Respect your tier's rate limits
- Contact us for increased limits rather than creating workarounds
- Repeated abuse may result in account suspension
API Key Security
You are responsible for:
- Keeping API keys confidential
- Not embedding keys in public repositories
- Regenerating compromised keys immediately
5. Sensitive Data Guidelines
While The Prompt Fixer™ uses secure, transient processing, users should exercise caution with sensitive data:
- Avoid submitting: Social Security numbers, credit card numbers, passwords, API keys, or other credentials
- Use caution with: Personal health information (PHI), financial records, legal documents
- Follow your organization's policies: Adhere to your company's data classification and AI use policies
6. Output Review Responsibility
Users are responsible for reviewing all AI-generated prompt optimizations before use. The Prompt Fixer™ does not guarantee the accuracy, appropriateness, or safety of optimized prompts. Users should:
- Review optimized prompts before using them with AI systems
- Verify that outputs align with intended purpose and organizational policies
- Not rely solely on AI-generated content for critical decisions
- Report any concerning outputs to support@thepromptfixer.com
7. Enforcement
Violations may result in:
- Warning: 7-day correction period
- Suspension: 30-day account suspension
- Termination: Permanent ban for severe/repeated violations
We reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate action against violations at our discretion.

If you become aware of any violation of this AUP, please report it:

9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this AUP periodically. Continued use of The Prompt Fixer™ after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
